Happy St Valentine's Day

Saint Valentine is the patron saint of young people, love and happy marriage. Although accounts of his life vary, we know that he was a martyr, and that he was likely buried on the Via Flaminia just to the north of Rome.

February 14th has been his official feastday since the year 496 AD, when Pope Gelasius marked the day as a celebration in honour of the sacrifices he made. It is common to see depictions of him with birds and roses.

Here at King Solomon we send everyone warm wishes on this St Valentine's Day.
