As you know, King Solomon recently had our first Ofsted monitoring visit following the full inspection in May last year. These termly Ofsted visits, which seek to ascertain whether progress is being made at the school, are not a full inspection and hence no rating is given. However, the inspector will make one of two judgements i.e. that either:
1) The leaders and managers are taking effective steps to get out of special measures, or
2) The leaders and managers are not taking effective measures to get out of special measures.
I am pleased to inform you that the inspector concluded that leaders and managers are taking effective action to get out of Special Measures.
This good news follows the outcome of our recent Section 48 inspection where we were rated ‘good’. Whilst recognizing that there is further work to be done, we are confident that the school is moving in the right direction.
